**Head of Strategy & Planning Germany (m/w/d) - Berlin Based**:

**About this role**:
This role will provide a pivotal role working directly with Germany's Managing Director as well as the DE Management Team to supercharge the strategic development and long term growth of the Germany commercial business, one of the largest markets within the Just Eat Takeaway group. This is a critical role where you will have a direct impact on the success and growth of our business in Germany. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, drive strategic initiatives, and lead a talented team, all while shaping the future direction of the company. Your role will involve streamlining the leadership team's operations, ensuring efficient execution, and fostering strong partnerships with our global teams in the JET family.

**These are some of the key ingredients to the role**:

- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Germany Managing Director and DE Management team to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with business objectives and drive sustained growth.
- Operational Excellence: Enhance the effectiveness of the leadership team by refining operational processes, ensuring swift and efficient execution of strategic initiatives, and aligning with global corporate strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and champion a small team including strategy, program and project managers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate closely with the DE Finance Director to manage the planning cycles, including budgeting, three-year planning, and reporting. Ensure that financial strategies are aligned with business goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Work with the Data & Insights team to identify and steer analysis of market opportunities and challenges, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business performance.
- Change Management: Lead efforts to define strategic outcomes for the DE Management team, ensuring that changes are effectively communicated and implemented across the business.
- Programme Management: Oversee and streamline strategic initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Cross-Departmental Communication: Serve as a key liaison between departments, translating complex data and strategies into clear, actionable objectives that can be easily understood and implemented across the organisation.

**What will you bring to the table?**:

- Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution, ideally within a complex, multinational environment. Prior experience in strategy or management consulting is a bonus;
- Strong commercial and financial acumen in order to provide critical and key strategic insight across all areas of the business;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams. Direct or indirect experience managing teams strongly preferred;
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a concise and compelling manner;
- Experience in program management, with a track record of successfully overseeing and delivering large-scale initiatives;
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with a focus on delivering result;
- Berlin based.
