**Research Associate - Applied Microeconomics (gn)**:
We are looking for a

**Research Associate - Applied Economics (gn)**

part-time (30 hours/week), to start in September 2025. The research associate will support Professor Ornaghi’s ongoing work in the economics of media and in political economy as part of the research project “Policy Preferences and Identities,” CRC Transregio 190, funded by the DFG.

**Your tasks**:

- Undertake literature reviews
- Write research reports
- Implement data cleaning and analysis
- Perform text analysis
- Identity and obtain datasets
- Collaborate with the research team

**Your profile**:

- A completed Master's degree in economics, statistics, computer science, or related fields is expected by the starting date of the appointment.
- Good knowledge of either Stata, R, or other statistical software
- Previous experience or willingness to learn programming languages such as Python
