At Bosque Foods, our vision is to accelerate the world’s transition to an environmentally sustainable, equitable, and animal-free food system.

Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives, starting with whole-cut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create better-than-meat products that deliver on the entire taste experience, nutrition, and price of traditional meat without compromise.

Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the world’s leading biotech accelerator program, IndieBio in New York City, we have now opened our lab in Berlin, Germany.

Tasks

We currently have an opening for an internship to assist the R&D Team in our fermentation lab.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the R&D team in executing benchtop fermentation trials for our raw mycelium.
- Perform analytical measurements to support the research and development of our process.
- Bring new ideas to the table for process development, execution, and optimisation.
- Maintain lab and benchtop equipment.
- Help clean lab equipment and fermentation vessels.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's program.
- Looking for a compulsory internship as part of your studies.
- Proactive, reliable and detail-oriented.
- Some experience working in a biotechnology lab.
- Experience working in sterile environments.
- Ideally able to start as soon as possible.
- Interest in fermentation and/or fungi is a plus.
- English language proficiency, both written and spoken. Fluent German is a plus.
