**The impact you will make**:
We are looking for a motivated Purchasing Specialist to manage the company’s procurement activities holistically. The Purchasing Specialist’s responsibilities include sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet the technical specifications, negotiating terms, and evaluating supplier performance. The Purchasing Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies.

More specifically, you will:

- Be managing daily purchasing activities
- Support our technical teams to identify suppliers
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating prices, timelines, etc.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Continuously improving purchasing systems and processes
- Providing training for new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system

**What you bring**:

- Degree in business engineering or relevant work experience in purchasing departments or a related field.
- Experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software
- Curiosity, growth mindset and openness to new ways of doing things
- Excellent communication skills and a structured working style
- A healthy amount of flexibility, adaptability and can-do attitude
- Fluent English, German is a nice-to-have
