**Senior Expert Packaging Development (f/m/d)**

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Fix-term for four months

In this temporary Position (4 months), as a member of Global Packaging and Medical Devices team you will report to the Senior Director, Global Head of Packaging and Devices Development and Industrialization. You will be a key contributor of Global Product Development (R&D) organization and will be responsible for developing innovative packaging solutions.

**What you can expect**:

- Provide scientific and technical inputs in the ideation and evaluation phase translating consumer insights in innovative and technically industrialisable packaging
- Actively cooperate with other Team Members (e.g., Marketing, Formulation, Scientific Claim Management, MS&T, Operations and Procurement) to develop packaging ensuring quality and cost leadership while complying with consumer insights
- Define and oversee prospective, performance and compliance packaging studies
- Anticipate and recognize risks, analyze data, identify root causes, draw conclusion, and deliver solid technical report with viable packaging solutions to enable stakeholders to make quality decisions
- Ensure robust and reliable management of the documentation associated with Packaging development
- Develop “_environmentally friendly_” packaging solutions and contribute actively to the Sustainability program
- Ensure compliance and safety of the developed packaging solutions and delivery systems

**Who we are looking for**:

- MSc or equivalent degree in Packaging, Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum proven experience in package engineering and development, preferably in the cosmetics industry
- Experience in working with various materials, the manufacturing and functionality of primary and secondary packaging
- Experience in developing sustainable packaging solutions; knowledge of LCA tools will be beneficial
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent written communication skills
- Project Management skills, with an understanding of timing and financial impacts
