Research Assistant (M/F/d) - AI for autonomous Mobility Systems
with the possibility of a doctorate

Your tasks
- You are involved in state-of-the-art AI research, e.g. in the area of Deep Reinforcement Learning, and develop new AI methods for autonomous and safe vehicles and mobility systems.
- You author scientific publications and participate in national and international conferences.
- You participate in the preparation of grant proposals and acquisition of third-party funding.
- You are responsible for supervising theses and providing imaginative support for the research and teaching activities of the professorship.

**Profile**:

- You have completed your Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or comparable with outstanding results.
- You have strong programming skills (preferably in Python) and are proficient with common ML/DL-frameworks (Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch).
- Ideally, you have experience in vehicle or traffic simulation (e.g., Carla, AirSim, LGSVL, Flow, Commonroad, SUMO) as well as ROS.
