Permanent role | Hybrid with 3 days/week in office

**Your role at Kittl**

You’ll be joining as the first People Ops person at Kittl and only the 3rd full time hire in the People team. We’re in a rapid growth phase so you’ll have the opportunity to come in and really shape things from scratch. You’ll be creating many new People processes and structures that will be rolled out in the whole company, and improving our current ways of working.

You’ll eventually grow in this role and own entire topics end-to-end in the People team, such as onboarding and offboarding, HRIS ownership, HR ticketing system ownership, etc. You’ll be expected to help the organisation grow by introducing new tools and processes to support that growth, and you’ll have the chance to build the People Ops function from scratch

**What you’ll do**
- Take ownership of HR topics in the employee life cycle, ensuring an excellent employee experience (e.g. onboarding)
- Own our day-to-day People operations and administration, e.g. contract management and people records maintenance
- While we are building Kittl, create scalable People operations processes, optimize workflows and drive automation to reduce manual work where possible
- Serve as contact person for employees for all administrative People-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement People policies and procedures to promote an efficient and compliant work environment
- Collaborate cross functionally to build a world-class People function

**What you’ll need**
- Know the ins and outs of People operations, ideally from several years of working at a fast-growing tech startup
- Love creating structure, possess excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Possess in-depth knowledge of German labour law related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance (knowledge of UK labour law is a plus)
- You’re well versed in Google Suite like Sheets, Docs, etc. and you are generally tech savvy
- Act proactive and solutions-oriented, always with a can-do attitude and on the look-out for improvements
- Have a passion for new technologies and automation and actively use them in your work
- Bring an analytical mindset, striving to make data-driven decisions
- Speak fluent English and your German is C1 or better

**What’s great to know**
- You are interested in AI and how it can be leveraged to improve HR
- You keep up to date with the latest HR and People trends (including tools and tech) to incorporate them into our People processes and increase quality and efficiency
