The IoT Specialist works as well with the aim to reduce time to market and costs for development, as well as operations and maximization of automation and time efficiency in prompt customer delivery.
Important skills for IoT Specialists include skills in service design and architecture, IT and an understanding of the entire development process.

**Your Tasks**:
Build a new secure IoT ecosystem (software, processes, services) and be part of their roll-out in record time
Drive the acceleration of IoT business by combining partner solutions with G+D portfolio elements
Be the technical interface between our partners, R&D and operations and the business development team
Coordinate the development steps and have a constant overview about the technical phases for realization and future development of our IoT platform and services
Plan jointly with our stakeholders the roadmaps and prioritize the given requirements
Understand partners’ and internal needs and provide them with tailored solutions and advice on how our platform can solve their commercial and strategic challenges
Support the business development team in functionality-specific, deep dive and second level demos
Provide strong technical understanding of our products with the ability to discuss product architecture, business processes, security, integration in a cost sensitive environment
Specify, install and manage pilot projects
Develop prototypes of solutions to validate feasibility and customer requirements
Represent the company and products at leading international tech conferences as well as local meetups
Take over additional topics and tasks in the scope of Business Development and Support

**Your Profile**:
Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or similar
Experience as a software engineer or an engineering background with 3 years’ experience in IoT
The ability to present complex technical capabilities and solutions
Experience and interest to work in a customer-facing role
Business Processes including Supply Chain and Partner Management
Excellent English skills
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy working on complex problems together with your teammates
You are curious to learn and have fun using new technologies
You have experience in and skills for cloud and infrastructure technologies
You understand the business implications of IoT concepts and stakeholder management
