**Communications Specialist, Germany (M/F/d)**

to support us in our communications in Germany. This full-time position will be located in Düsseldorf. You will work closely with your colleagues in Neste’s global communications teams to drive and strengthen our presence and visibility and report to the Head of External Engagement. The role of the Communications Specialist is to strengthen Neste’s external communications with a focus on our external communications and media relations in Germany.

**Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future**
- Collaborate with Neste’s communications teams and external agencies in aligning and strengthening Neste's key messages in the German media landscape
- Plan, coordinate and implement effective external communications activities in Germany in alignment with Neste’s global communications strategy
- Proactively support in driving and strengthening presence and external visibility for Neste’s business units and on a corporate level.
- Support with managing media relations in Germany, e.g. managing inquiries from the German media.
- Support with crisis communications and issues management.
- Arrange, plan and coordinate events, e.g. media visits.
- Drive media monitoring and KPIs for measurement and analysis for further improving our engagement.
- Create, localize and update our communications content and materials for both internal and external uses, e.g. website, social media, corporate intranet, etc. in Germany.
- Assist with internal communications tasks, e.g. plan and coordinate internal events.

**Keys to success in this role**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area, such as communications.
- Min. 3 years of hands-on experience in communications positions, experience from a corporate or agency setting considered an advantage.
- Experience in media relations, e.g. organizing interviews, managing media requests, etc.
- Proven track record of creating compelling content, e.g. web content, social media posts, articles and press releases etc. for various communications channels, as well as managing related processes.
- Attention to detail to help ensure consistency in messages and storytelling.
- Capability to assist in issues management and crisis communications in Germany, in cooperation with the global communications team.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English and experience in content creation in both languages. Other languages are considered a plus.

- Excellent grammar, composition, and proofreading skills in German language
- Organizational skills and superior attention to detail
