(Junior) Associate Finance

As (Junior) Associate Finance & Operations you help to build up and implement the right target operating and financial model and support further financing rounds. You take responsibility for the entire accounting and administration processes around the platform as well as the customer support working closely with all business functions and various external parties. This role includes a brought range of tasks and responsibilities so you can grow as fast as the company itself.

**Role & responsibilities**:
As (Junior) Associate Finance & Operations you help to build up and implement the right target operating and financial model and support further financing rounds. You take responsibility for the entire accounting and administration processes around the platform as well as the customer support working closely with all business functions and various external parties. This role includes a brought range of tasks and responsibilities so you can grow as fast as the company itself. ‍

**What is in store for you**:

- Together with our COO, further expand the Finance & Operations department by developing and implementing suitable processes and structures.
- Actively support further financing rounds of a start-up (e.g. pitch deck creation, due diligence process, business plan modeling, cap table, negotiation and contract management).
- Contribute to the development and implementation of monthly and quarterly reports for investors.
- Lead the entire accounting process: From preparatory balance sheet accounting, invoicing and processing to the reporting of several companies worldwide, and the coordination and cooperation with external accounting and tax firms.
- Take responsibility for the administrative processes on our platform (including the certification of sinks, the purchase of certificates, the creation of invoices) and support customers and the team in case of questions and problems in this regard.
- Support projects for the further development of our company with a focus on Finance & Operations (e.g. establishment of new legal entities, introduction of new / standardized processes worldwide, expansion of our business model, project financing). ‍

**What you bring to the table**:

- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a start-up or a VC.
- You shine with a solution oriented working style.
- You are a team player - loyalty and discretion are important to you.
- You remain calm and structured, even when things develop dynamically.
- Your oral and written English is fluent. German is a big plus.
- Working with the Microsoft Office package and cloud-based solutions comes easily to you.
- You have completed your studies (at least Bachelor) in the field of economics or have a comparable degree.
- Environmental and climate protection are close to your heart. ‍
