Project Coordinator in The R&d Department

**Responsibilities**:
Support the Head of Project Management with administrative tasks for internal and customer-oriented R&D projects:

- Developing ideas for, and lead projects until they become real products
- Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs
- Project planning based on the scope of work specified by the project manager: preparation of project costing, project schedule, resource analysis based on the project management software Jira (knowledge of Big Picture, Tempo and Confluence is an advantage)
- Monitoring of daily project progress
- Detailed project updates for project managers and team members
- Exchange of project-related information between departments
- Coordination of team work, including information on deviations from the plan
- Tracking budget, schedule, risks and other project metrics - Preparing project reports (organisational part of the project)
- Controlling the procurement of equipment and components required for the project in terms of time and budget
- Planning and facilitating meetings
- Contribute to the development of project activities in the company

**Requirements**:

- PhD or MS in solid-state/semiconductor/laser physics/engineering, or related fields
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in project management, management, business administration or engineering
- Knowledge of project management approaches and understanding of the differences between them
- Understanding of the principles of working relationships in projects
- Working experience with the project management software Jira (Confluence, Big Picture, Tempo) is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of economic efficiency and costs in projects
- Professional experience in project management would be an advantage
- Strong organisational, communication and time management skills
- Ability to create presentations and present them to colleagues
- Ability to analyse data
- Flexibility in relation to a changing environment
- Very good command of English (Upper-Intermediate)
