The Value Stream QA Specialist (f/m/d) is responsible for QA oversight at our site in Bad Kreuznach (greater Mainz) for one product family / production area.

This position is part of the Site Quality & Regulatory Affairs department and will be located in Bad Kreuznach manufacturing location on-site. The teams vision is to position Quality as a growth differentiator and to promote a zero-defect culture.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Be accountable for taking release decisions based on batch record and QC result review
- Investigate complaints and other non-conformities, evaluate the plausibility of root cause analysis and adequacy of proposed corrective and preventative actions
- Define in-process and QC-test methods, sample frequency, specification limits and work instructions based on product performance and risk analysis
- Evaluate changes to existing and support development of new products from a quality perspective
- Assess process for improvement opportunities, initiate and drive improvement projects

The essential requirements of the job include:

- Scientific or technical education (BSC/BEng, MSc/MEng, or comparable apprenticeship in scientific/technical environment)
- First years of experience in a similar role, independently of the industry, would be a plus
- Fluent German is mandatory, good command in English language

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Manufacturing or Quality Assurance/Control expertise in Food Contact and/or plastic injection molding industry.
- ISO 9001:2015 knowledge and auditor qualification
