**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
At Zalando, we believe in the power of stories, especially when they come to life on screen. As our AI Video Editor, you’ll contribute to shaping the next generation of fashion storytelling by integrating cutting-edge generative AI into our video content creation.

Working at the intersection of creativity and technology, you’ll collaborate closely with our in-house creative teams to develop scalable, high-impact video solutions for campaigns and all our digital platforms. Your expertise with AI video tools will help us redefine how fashion is experienced and shared with millions.

**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:
AI-Powered video creation:

- Develop and produce video content using advanced generative AI tools such as text-to-video and image-to-video solutions.
- Build efficient, flexible workflows to produce high-quality video assets and tailored versions for different channels.

Video editing & Post-Production:

- Develop campaigns using both AI-generated content with traditional video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve to ensure a polished, on-brand final result.
- Enhance AI outputs through color grading, sound design, and detailed post-production finishing touches.
- Create reusable editing templates and systems to quickly adapt content for different markets and audiences.

Technical enablement & workflow optimization:

- Set up and maintain AI-based video workflows, from tool testing and selection to automation and integration.
- Work closely with creative, innovation, and tech teams to bring new ideas to life.
- Document processes, run ad-hoc sessions, create guides, and provide support to build internal capabilities.
- Experiment with and fine-tune AI models for video tasks to ensure consistency, scalability, and output quality.

**WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have proven experience developing and implementing AI-driven solutions in video production or visual storytelling, with a strong portfolio that highlights your creative and innovative use of AI.
- You are skilled in prompt crafting and iteration, capable of achieving highly specific, brand-aligned results using generative AI tools.
- You have strong expertise with AI tools and frameworks relevant to video, including but not limited to RunwayML, Pika Labs, Sora (OpenAI), Google Veo, and Adobe Creative (Premiere Pro, After Effects), and you know how to integrate these tools into cohesive storytelling pipelines.
- You possess excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and iterate quickly in high-paced creative environments.
- You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing experimentation with delivering high-quality, on-brand video content under tight deadlines.
- You have strong communication skills and can clearly explain technical concepts and AI capabilities to creative directors, designers, and marketing stakeholders.
- You have a creative mindset and a passion for innovation, constantly exploring new tools, techniques, and ideas to push the boundaries of AI in video editing.
- You have an understanding of fashion or lifestyle brands and a strong sense for visual trends and eCommerce storytelling.
- Nice to have:_
- _ Experience with node-based AI video systems like ComfyUI._
- _ Familiarity with custom model training or fine-tuning for video tasks._
- _ Experience building custom AI pipelines or creative production tools._
- _ Understanding of automated content production_ _workflows, including batch creation and dynamic versioning._
- _ Interest in emerging formats such as virtual try-ons, AI-powered fashion clips, or interactive video experiences._
