Proclinical are recruiting an Associate Director, Quality Assurance (RP) for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Munich. The client is focused on creating, manufacturing and commercialising transformative remedies for those who suffer from serious illnesses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise GMP/GXP compliance to guidelines and the company's formed processes and discuss CAPAs and action plans to country management and corporate quality.
- Offer quality knowledge and guidance through directing local/regional quality actions.
- Work alongside the international quality establishment, weigh and discuss quality and compliance risks when suitable.
- Serve as the responsible person supervising all QA connected duties, which may involve lot release of products imported by the company in compliance with GMP needs.
- Arrange with supply chain to prioritise lot release actions as per business requirements.
- Guarantee quality oversight and actions affiliated new product launches and indications.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology or any other natural scientific field.
- Acquaintance within a global setting.
- Comprehension of both global and local quality systems and guidelines and standards for pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
- Familiarity within a responsible person or deputy role.
- At least 5+ years of work experience in a QA role.
- Influential and deliberation abilities.
- Leadership skills.
- A high attention to detail with the capacity to possess a reliable approach to work.
- Works well in a team and independently while under pressure.
- Flexible work approach.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Identified as an expert source for advice within other divisions.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Willing to travel for business needs.
