The position reports to the CFO of M&C and is critical to the success of the business. You will aid in driving finance
and accounting processes and controls related to MSA’s corporate functions. In addition, you will need to ensure
proper US GAAP treatment of all M&C operating companies.

We are looking for a qualified person (full-time) to join our Accounting Department as soon as possible.

US GAAP ACCOUNTANT (M/F/X)
in Ratingen (near Düsseldorf)

**Your Responsibilities**

ƒ P artner with internal contacts across the Group to meet operational accounting needs
for MSA’s global business
ƒ Collaborate with team members to ensure proper US GAAP accounting
ƒ Perform analytical procedures to ensure complete and accurate monthly reporting
ƒ A ssist in the development of automated solutions for manual processes
ƒ Support all internal and external audit activities and requests, including SOX Compliance
ƒ Perform accounting research as required to support business needs

**Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**

ƒ Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
ƒ Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and German)
ƒ Organizational and multitasking skills and ability to perform successfully in a team environment
ƒ Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

**Preferred**

ƒ Public accounting or experience in a multinational manufacturing company
ƒ Working knowledge of Oracle FCCS

**Education Required**

ƒ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
ƒ 2 years or more of relevant experience
