Our finance team of Hotel Co 51 Germany is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join the department in Frankfurt Airport area.

Hotel Co 51 Germany GmbH Finance team oversees the finance, controlling and reporting of all our properties in Germany. They support the daily operation of the hotels, assist in the opening phase for new projects, participate in the preparation of monthly P&L reporting, Forecasting and the annual Budgeting Process together with the Hotel Managers.

In the position of Assistant Regional Controller you will assume full responsibility for:

- Monthly Reporting of Results for Hotels and Group as well assisting in monthly forecasting
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements according to HGB in connection with the Regional Controller
- Assisting in the annual Budget Process
- Assist in preparing and checking monthly Vat returns
- Ensuring the Team follows correct bookkeeping processes according to international and local regulations (Uniform system of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and HGB)
- Assist in the implementation and development of SOPs ensuring internal financial controls are met
- Coordinate the efforts of the Finance Team, ensuring that processes are optimized
- Establish and build a close working relationship with Hotel Operations
- Be fully conversant with MS- Office Package, especially Excel. If you have experience with Opera PMS and SunInfor this would be advantageous
- Any other ad-hoc reporting and statistics as required by Management or Group

**Do you have what it takes?**

We are looking for a colleague who:

- Speaks fluently German and English
- Has a critical attitude and independent mind, “looking for the issues”
- Has an advanced knowledge of MS Office package
- Has a professional Qualification in (business) economics and/or accounting or studying towards a qualification
- has worked in a similar Position in a Hotel for at least 1 to 3 years
- is willing to work in a non-standardized environment

Das Team in der Buchhaltung von Hotel Co 51 Germany GmbH ist für die Finanzen, Controlling und das Berichtswesen aller Hotels in Deutschland verantwortlich. Du unterstützt den täglichen Betrieb der Hotels, Du hilfst bei der Eröffnung von neuen Hotels und beteiligst Dich an an der Erstellung von monatlichen Geschäftsabschlüssen in Zusammenarbeit mit den Hotelmanagern. In der Position des Buchhalters übernimmst Du Verantwortung für folgende Bereiche:

- Erstellung der Monatsabschlüsse für die Hotels und Gruppe und Unterstützung in der Erstellung der monatlichen Planung
- Monatliche Abstimmung der Haupt
- und Nebenbücher
- Erstellung der Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Regional Controller
- Unterstützung im jährlichen Budgetierungsprozess
- Unterstützung in der Vorbereitung der monatlichen Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen
- Du stellst sicher, dass die Anforderungen an ein transparentes und regelkonformes Controlling eingehalten werden
- Du unterstützt die Aufbereitung und Umsetzung von SOPs und sicherst somit die Kontrolle der internen Prozesse
- Du koordinierst die Abläufe im Finanz Team und bist stets bereit durch analytisches Denken Prozesse zu optimieren wo möglich
- Du bist vertraut mit MS-Office Programmen, insbesondere Excel. Wenn Du bereits Erfahrung mit Opera PMS sowie SunInfor Systems hast ist es ein grosser Vorteil.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Hotel Operations und anderen Managern in Regionalen Funktionen
- Erstellung weiterer Reports und Statistiken nach Anfragen der Geschäftsleitung
