Our company is one of the leading CDMOs.

Aenova has recently organized its all its manufacturing operations (14 sites in 6 countries) under a recently appointed COO. The future organization of the COO, in addition to the management of the manufacturing sites, includes corporate functions such as Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain Management, EHS as well as the creation of an Operational Excellence Group in the sense of an internal consulting group/task force. The task force will operate as a hand-on internal consulting group with the objective of delivering transformative project in line with Aenova’s Value Creation Plan. The initial team will consist of a Head of this task force plus 2-3 project managers.

What can you expect?

The task at hand is project dependent, and as such will vary on an as needed basis and will encompass site-specific projects as well as overarching group-wide initiatives. The ultimate objective of this team is to develop insight, recommend pathways for implementation, and deliver the hands-on implementation in order to achieve better or best practice in terms of operational excellence. Exemplary projects could include:

- Footprint optimization and optimal product allocation
- Working capital reduction
- Throughput-time improvements or OEE increases
- Projects geared towards productivity gains and efficiency improvements
- Projects related to capacity expansion and capability extension
- Preparation of business cases to support strategic decision making
- Projects related to product portfolio optimization (product profitability, tail management, etc.)

What should you bring?
- University degree (Masters/Diploma) preferably in the areas of business administration, engineering from a leading university
- 5 years plus experience in an operationally focused consulting firm with team lead responsibility (for the Head of the Group), senior associate positions or project manager positions (for the team members)
- Consistent track record of outperformance (school, university, consulting firm)
- Track record of leading transformative operational implementation (vs. focus on consulting strategy advisory work)
- Ability to travel most of the time
- Experience in a PE environment a plus
- German speaking a plus but not must have
