**What you will do**
- Independent planning and development of new processes and methods in the areas of virus technology, cell technology and process technology
- Implementation, presentation and documentation of complex experiments in the field of molecular / pharmaceutical biotechnology / virology
- Formulation and implementation of research and development projects with national and international partners
- Supervision of academic work by students
**What you bring to the table**
- University degree in biology, pharmaceutical / molecular biotechnology, molecular medicine or similar
- A completed master's thesis in a relevant research area
- Well-founded specialist knowledge and skills in the fields of virology, biochemistry, immunology, molecular biotechnology, structural biology and/or process development
- Prior knowledge of the following methods: cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology, virology, flow cytometry, Western blot and/or ELISA, process control, USP, DSP, automated-digitized processes, analytics and similar
- Previous knowledge of working with genetically modified viruses of security level 2 desirable
- A high degree of initiative and personal responsibility
- Independent way of working, creativity, flexibility and ability to work in a team

The weekly working time is 39 hours. The full-time position with half pay offers 50% of the time for scientific and experimental work for your dissertation and 50% for working on research projects as a research assistant. The position is limited to three
