**What you will do**

We are looking for an integration research assistan willing to support our device integration, technology convergence and process improvement activities. You will be a member of the high-performance technology group, working on improved process flows (e.g. NVM/MIM integration), streamlined metallization schemes (Cu/Co based) as well as related electrical and physical characterization.

The main research task of this position is to define, develop and implement process modules to be transfered from promising lab based concepts to IPMS´ 300mm state-of-the-art cleanroom. Here, the midterm focus will be set on new materials for next generation computing.

**What you bring to the table**
- Knowledge in solid state physics, semiconductor technology e.g. thin film deposition, test structure design
- First contact to analytics (e.g. AFM, SEM, 4PP, XPS)
- Interest in integrated circuit design
- Analytic thinking and problem solving skills
- Good speaking and reading skills in English are required, German is recommended
- Technical understanding of CMOS device integration or state-of-the-art BEoL metallization is preferred
