Material and laser with system:_
**Within the Chemical Surface and Battery Technology department in the Chemical Coating Processes group we are looking for motivated students (M/F/d) to support the further development of a future battery technology.**
**What you will do**
- Diverse support in a varied field of activity
- Use of laboratory equipment available according to the latest technological standards
- Carrying out tests for the production and further processing of powder mixtures
- Application of characterization methods for the evaluation of electrode layer qualities
- Evaluation of test results: Data transfer and management in MS Excel
**What you bring to the table**
- You are a student (M/F/d) of a technical or scientific field of study (e.g.: Process and natural materials engineering, materials science, chemistry, or similar).
- You have an understanding of science and technology and are interested in working in a highly innovative environment and want to play an active role in shaping the future.
- You attach importance to a structured way of working and are a good communicator and team player
- You always work independently and reliably with free time management
- You have initial experience in the use of laboratory and measuring equipment
**What you can expect**
At the Fraunhofer IWS Dresden, manufacturing processes and novel material systems are being developed for the battery concepts of the future.
One of these innovations is a resource
- and cost-saving dry transfer process to produce battery electrodes from pure powder-like materials without adding solvents (DRYtraec®). The development activities involve various tasks in the laboratory area, for which we are looking for active support as soon as possible
- A versatile and challenging task in a future-oriented research institution
- Work in a collegial, helpful and creative working environment
- The possibility to implement existing concepts as well as to contribute own ideas
- The job is part-time (either 30, 35 or 40 hours/month) and can be adapted to the requirements of your studies.
- Remuneration is in accordance with the company agreement on the employment of student assistants.
