Unique possibility to build and lead the global Software R&D in Connectivity, Infotainment and ADAS for a leading Automotive OEM

Responsibilities and tasks:

- Lead global R&D and define the product roadmap across all software domains in the car
- Implement voice control and data based solutions to create smart user interfaces
- Integrate established products from consumer electronics into the car
- Establish R&D partnerships with other innovation leaders in Software and Electronics Architecture
- Develop an end-to-end software offering with a strong focus on scaling a cloud-based simulation & virtualization framework
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the R&D competence centres and ensure continuous improvement of the overall software development process and tool chain
- Create new revenue streams and profitability by driving new software business models

Background and capability demand:

- A university degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience in leading international software development organizations in an automotive corporation
- Strong know-how in Connected Services, Infotainment and Electronic System Architecture development
- A hands-on mentality, a creative mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit with a high motivation to build, develop and lead a large organisation
- A leader who creates an environment in which individuals and teams work with rather than against each other, engages and guides others in developing and sharing knowledge
- Fluent English language skills are a must; Additional languages are a plus
