**Job Description**:
We are looking for an exceptional **Legal Counsel** who will provide legal services to all the operational departments within zooplus. Being a part of an outstanding team, you will be one of the main drivers to bring our contract management process to the next level, thus, ensuring the success of the business.

Are you ready to take on this challenge?

As a **Legal Counsel**, you will take care of:

- Providing legal advice to the company´s specialist departments on legal topics, in particular in general civil law
- Supporting contract check process: reviewing and drafting (international) contracts, performing risk assessment
- Accompanying the optimization of contract management processes
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines and contract terms
- Conducting independent negotiations with external lawyers and service providers
- Supporting implementation of new legislation with regard to the company´s business model

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed legal studies
- ** Business fluent in written and spoken German and English**:

- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in a legal department of an internationally acting company / as a lawyer in the relevant field of practice
- Experience in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- High level of personal initiative, commitment and responsibility
- Analytical, conceptual and result-oriented way of thinking and working
- Understanding of complex, legal, economic and technical contexts
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Willingness to take on consulting responsibilities
