Interested? Then we will look forward to meeting you **Your responsibilities** The Data Design Team as a central team is responsible for the Data Journey at Uniper. Our activities are aimed at unlocking the data potential and supporting Uniper's business strategy. Within the Data Journey, a core element is Data Discoverability, which is closely linked to Data Governance and Data Architecture. Our Data Driven Approach starts with the business perspective. From this, we derive our Data Assets Landscape to capture and describe the most relevant data for the Uniper value chain. Our data architecture approach is designed to help us share data within Uniper in a secure way. Rapid provision of data and sharing of data with third parties is critical. As a data architect, you understand the business but also know the technology and analytics well enough to know how to leverage the best of the three to solve data challenges and drive data initiatives. You think in terms of strategy and business impact and can translate the ambitions of different stakeholders into concrete data-driven initiatives and specific actions. - Our data architects in the "Data Design Team" take on a central role and ensure that the foundation for data democratisation is laid at Uniper - closely aligned with our business strategy. You have the overview of Data at Uniper - They are responsible for designing data architectures for our various business areas and empowering corresponding teams in the process - You will consider compliance requirements and follow our data domain model as well as data-driven data governance - You will be from a business perspective responsible for the strategic development of Uniper's data platform 'Atonyx', encompassing all the beauty of the MS Azure stack and cutting-edge technology (Talend, Snowflake, Power BI) - The evaluation of new solution options and vendors is in your hands, this may include your own prototyping activities for future data technology options - Your mandate will include a full voting seat on the Design Authority Board - You will be the point of contact for data architecture and data discoverability at Uniper **Your profile** - You have at least five years' experience in relevant positions, in the energy sector would be a plus and are able to lead projects - You love to train colleagues at Uniper, guide in developing data architectures and maintain our Data Domain model in the Data Catalogue - You have very good knowledge of functional data modelling, data integration and have the conceptual understanding to integrate data across systems - Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage complex interdependencies - High intrinsic motivation to drive change and create impact within heterogeneous stakeholder groups - We are an international company with a global reach.
