Emea Sales Director

The EMEA Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) region for Axelera AI. This individual will lead a team of sales professionals and will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the EMEA region
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to drive sales and revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners in the region
- Work closely with the head of go-to-market and the business development team on strategic sales activities and partnership
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence in the EMEA market
- Develop and implement sales plans and targets, and regularly report on progress to the senior management team
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing and lead generation programs
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand customer needs and provide feedback for product development
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote the company's products and services
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activity to develop effective sales strategies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of the EMEA market and experience selling in the region
- Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience selling technology products, preferably in the AI or IoT space
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
