Adan-zalando Scholarship for Bpoc

Adan-Zalando Scholarship is the unique program for Black and People of Color (BPoC) in Germany. The scholarships will be offered starting this summer. It consists of an internship (40 hours a week) and a mentoring program. As an intern, you will join one of Zalando's teams in either a tech, fashion or business related field and get a glimpse of what working at an e-commerce company is like. As a mentee, you will be accompanied by experienced Zalando employee, i.e. meet with them regularly to reflect, seek guidance and get help with navigating through the career world.

Ever wondered who decides on which items Zalando customers are able to shop at our store? Or how our parcels get sent to our customers? And you always wanted to see how the code for the fashion store is developed?

**DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE**:

- You will complete your internship in your field of interest and experience
- Tech (e.g. Product Management, Coding, Artificial Intelligence)
- Fashion (e.g. Category Management, Marketing, Photo studios)
- Business (e.g. Logistics, Sales, HR)
- You will work on a specific set of duties with a Zalando-wide impact
- You will be supported by your supervisor while being an active part of the team
- You will have the opportunity to join a weekly mentoring of 1.5 hours with your assigned mentor, who guides you through your journey and is your partner for all questions

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Study, degree or first experience in the field of interest
- Ability to quickly find your feet and hit the ground running with new tasks and curiosity to learn new tools and skills in a fast paced and agile environment
- Empathic personality, team player aptitude, reliable working style with attention to detail and flexibility
- Strong Communication skills, fluent in English, German is a plus
