**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Merchandiser at Lounge by Zalando, you’re part of a high performing team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion in our Offprice segment. You are responsible for defining the financial KPI plan that is reflective of the Category strategy for a season which you have determined with your Supply & Commercial counterparts. You are accountable for autonomously steering a defined business area; delivering impact in the current and future seasons of all markets.

**INCLUSIVE BY DESIGN**:
**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- You will be responsible for creating future season plans, you create and use seasonal forecasts, as well as steering in season management in preparing the weekly trade, monthly MFP and developing analytical insights.
- You implement a stable campaign plan for the development of your category.
- You will work closely with retail and buyers to ensure growth targets are achieved, problems are solved and you contribute to their strategies.
- You will be responsible for defining the KPI forecast and determining the actions to achieve target KPIs.
- Steering the performance of your defined area focusing on customer engagement, sales & profit.
- Exchanging ideas and information with other departments like pricing, Zalando fashion store, inventory management and global retail event teams.
- Ensure high levels of product availability by functionally leading junior team members. You are hands on and support improving processes and utilising new tooling improvements.

**WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You are already working at a junior merchandiser level for at least +1 year
- You hold a degree in business or merchandising and have already gained experience in a customer facing analytical role +3 years
- You have a quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment, while embracing collaboration & change. Being able to work in a team as well as being very independent
- You build up knowledge about key players, competition and the market mechanisms in your area.
- You are data and metric-driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex sales data.
- You shine while interacting with your stakeholders, you like an international atmosphere and are fluent in business English
