**What will you do**:
You will undertake a wide range of people tasks, focusing on all things people ops related, like administering employee contracts, benefits and leaves, payroll and crafting people policies. You will also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on people-related topics. You will report to our VP People.
**Your key responsibilities**:
- You will manage our monthly payroll process for various locations
- You will communicate with authorities and insurances
- You will ensure compliance with labour law regulations
- You will provide support to our team members in various people-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
- You will maintain employee files and records and work on our process documentation
- You will assist in our talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- You will create new initiatives and people programs
**Who we are looking for **️**:
- You have proven experience as an People Operations Specialist or HR Generalist
- You have a solid understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- You have experience with the German payroll process and ideally with other EU countries as well
- You have excellent communication skills and can handle sensitive matters with diplomatic delicacy
- You are fluent in German and English
- You are highly (self-)organized, want to move fast, and have a high attention to detail
- You have the ability to see the tasks and initiatives in context of our bigger picture
- You are hands-on and willing to jump into other topics as well
