**Your mission**:
We are looking for a talented and ambitious member of airfocus’ executive leadership team, that comes with an entrepreneurial spirit and profound experience in the area of FP&A and accounting. You will build the airfocus finance function from the ground up and provide strategic financial guidance as well as operational excellence in support of our ambitious growth objectives.
- Build a world-class finance function department
- Own FP&A including financial model, financial planning, forecasting, and cash vs. burn tracking
- Build and improve the reporting for investors and Series B
- Manage external firms provide accounting and decide when to start doing it in-house
- Partner up with senior leadership to develop a reporting system across departments to accurately track KPIs and budgets
- Manage payroll of our highly international staff, customer subscription, and annual accounts including audits.

**Your profile**:

- You bring 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a VC-backed start-up, and experience with fundraising & investor relations.
- You have a deep understanding of the core financial disciplines (FP&A & Accounting)
- You played a key role in building and maintaining the financial modeling & reporting for Investors and fundraising before
- You embrace an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on generating impact fast, showing cognitive flexibility to tackle strategic as well as operational tasks.
- You have super strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel)
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
