**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure operational excellence in all relevant compliance areas while aligning with BaFin’s regulatory guidelines.
- Provide compliance advice on all current and future products and services across the business, as well as overarching compliance requirements, such as product governance, vulnerable customers, conflict of interest, outsourcing, SMCR, conduct risk etc.
- Lead compliance projects, participate in cross-functional teams and deliver within timelines.
- Ensure the appropriate operation of the financial promotions review process.
- Own and maintain all compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively implemented.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, understand their needs and provide tailored compliance advice.
- Work with T212’s Legal Team to manage the relationship with BaFin.

**What you need to have**:

- Proven experience in leading high-performing compliance teams towards operational success.
- Educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Fluency in English and German.
- A minimum of five years experience in a senior compliance capacity within a MiFID-regulated firm.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and guidelines.
- Excellent ability to understand the business and excel in ownership roles.
- Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable.
- Experience working with international teams across different time zones, utilising digital communication tools to coordinate and manage tasks efficiently.
