- Maintain and develop effective and collaborative relationships with relevant internal stakeholders; stay informed about company’s business focus and its strategic direction, its objectives, risks, change initiatives, and challenges.
- Continuously maintain and renew knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures, relevant external rules and regulations. Stay informed about the evolving business and functional priorities. Identify patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures or relevant regulatory codes.
- Continuously develop internal audit knowledge, and stay informed of industry rules and regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and the IIA standards.

- Experience in evaluating and performing risk assessments at a task and organisation level.
- Good understanding of auditing and control practices, proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, rules and regulations.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Internal auditors are expected to be critical thinkers with strong problem-solving skills, structured way of working, and solid business acumen.
- University degree in Exploration & Production disciplines or Business Administration with postgraduate training in E&P, engineering, technical disciplines
- Accreditation to CIA or other professional certification in technical fields is preferable.
- Experience in working in Internal Audit functions in industry or through professional services.
- Work experience in technical positions of minimum 5 years.
