**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a

**(Senior) Scientist Translational Science**

as Translational Lead to strengthen our Translational Science team in the research and development of innovative cancer immunotherapeutic products.

You will work in an interdisciplinary environment at the interface of pre-clinical and clinical departments, preferably on-site our Tuebingen premises (Germany), but with the option to also work from home to a certain degree according to prior agreement. With your excellent scientific capabilities, you will contribute to the development of cancer immunotherapies, translating them from the pre-clinical phase into clinical development. You will independently research a wide range of scientific topics and support the preparation of documents for submission.

**Your mission**:
In your role at Immatics you will take the function of a Translational and Correlative Studies Lead for early clinical stage development programs within cross-functional global project teams with a focus on our TCER® programs.

The Translational Lead function includes:

- Contributing to successful regulatory submissions, e.g., by authoring nonclinical sections in regulatory and clinical documents (i.e., briefing books, Investigator’s Brochures, Clinical Study Protocols).
- Evaluating combination therapies and co-medications for our development programs (e.g., by in-depth literature analysis or in pre-clinical studies).

The Correlative Studies Lead function includes:

- Taking responsibility for translating pre-clinical hypotheses into clinical biomarker strategies for the TCER® pipeline.
- Overseeing cross-functional efforts to generate and analyze biomarker data derived from clinical trial samples.
- Correlating clinical biomarker data with efficacy and safety measures to derive insights that inform research/ laboratory projects, new drug development strategies, and/ or diagnostic opportunities.

**Your profile**:
You have successfully completed your doctorate in the field of life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a comparable education with a strong focus on immunology and/ or oncology. You have a minimum experience of 2-3 years (Scientist level) or 3-5 years (Senior Scientist level) in translational and clinical science as post-doc and/ or in the biopharmaceutical industry with suitable research focus in the field of bispecifics and/ or antibodies. You have a strong science driven analytical and structured thinking and the ability to drive projects in a cross-functional environment. Experience in early drug development, regulatory requirements, medical and scientific writing are favorable.
