**Your tasks**:

- Literature research to find both models for nonlinearities as well as algorithms to invert them,
- Implementing (in Python) the most promising of the algorithms to compare their performance, and
- Developing a new algorithm for nonlinear equalization (pursuit of own ideas welcome)
