We are looking for a Paralegal for our Legal Team in Berlin, full-time or part-time **You will**: - Support Babbel's Legal Department, including completing administrative tasks - Support in corporate housekeeping matters and legal project management - Research and analyze legal inquiries and provide legal advice related to general civil law, competition law, commercial law, consumer law, corporate law, data protection law and IP law, including trademark law - Support in the preparation, implementation and filing of contracts, letters, written pleadings, powers of attorney, processes/guidelines and other legal documents - Maintain Babbel's legal database and archive **You are**: - A lawyer who passed the 1st state exam or a similar legal education with at least satisfactory results - An independent self-starter, with a high level of commitment and a "hands-on" mentality **You have**: - Work experience as Paralegal - Strong analytical skills, which allow you to quickly grasp and present legal issues - Excellent German language skills and are fluent in English (oral and written skills) - Good MS Office skills - A sense of humor, common sense and a good team spirit Nice-to-have - Work experience from an international environment - Preferably, you have prior work experience in the area of data protection law **Some perks of becoming a Babbelonian**: - 30 vacation days and flexible working hours - BVG card or Swapfiets bike - Jobbatical and Sabbatical options - Many internal & external learning opportunities to choose from - A yearly Learning & Development budget - Visa and relocation assistance - Full access to Babbel & Babbel Live classes - Modern office in the heart of buzzing Berlin equipped with a family, music, faith and nap rooms - Various internal communities to be part of including the Femgineers, DEI Ambassadors, Accessibility & Disability Group and more Diversity at Babbel Sounds good?
