General Ledger Accountant

**Your challenge**:
As our General Ledger Accountant within the Finance team, you will be responsible for the performance of accounting tasks in collaboration with internal departments. Reporting to our Team Lead Accounting, you will play a crucial part to help us get our accounting processes ready for continued company growth.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Maintain general ledger accounts and gather supporting documentation
- Support monthly and annual close processes: Entering financial data such as revenues, accruals, deferrals, fixed asset depreciation, reclassifications entries into the ledger on a monthly basis
- Reconciling accounts including intercompany accounts with the general ledger
- Monthly financial statement consolidation
- Support auditors in conducting internal and external audits
- Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialisation
- Three to five years of general ledger accounting experience according to German GAAP (HGB)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Auditing experience is a plus
- Fluent in German and English.
