The Legal and Compliance area is the department within GENS responsible for all legal and compliance matters within the company. As the Legal Counsel together with your colleagues and the General Counsel and Compliance Officer, you advise the directors, the management team as well as the team members and assist in ensuring a compliant approach of the company.

Become part of our international Generali Engagement Solutions team as legal and compliance counsel (M/F/d).
- Your primary focus will be on IT, Data Protection Law, contractual law as well as on tackling with compliance-related matters. Involvement in corporate law matters or any other matters required by projects or other activities will occur
- In order to support the stakeholders within and outside the company in introducing new business and conducting business as usual in the existing products you will be a competent contact person for all legal questions relating with IT and Data Protection, as well as contractual and compliance matters. This includes negotiation of complex IT and service contracts, license agreements, outsourcing agreements and framework agreements with our Generali Vitality partners and other service providers, managing internal regulation, compliance advice etc.
- In view of the many contact points with your colleagues, you will take on complex and varied tasks from day one, help to shape them and work independently

If you would like to support our unique team in their exciting voyage to provide the best engagement solutions to the customers of the Generali Group you should meet the following requirements:
**Educational/Professional Qualification**
- Successfully completed German 2nd state examination in law or an equivalent European degree
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT and/or Data Protection Law
- Basic practical knowledge of Corporate Commercial Law, Law on Contracts and Civil Law.

**Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required**
- Assertiveness, confident demeanor, and strong communication skills at all levels
- Team player, proactivity, commitment, and high ownership level
- Familiarity with legal challenges related to cloud environments and apps
- Fluent in English, ideally also in German

**Nice to have**
- Any certification in data protection law, Master of Laws, etc.
- Previous experience with a complex and international working environment
- Experience with compliance matters
- Knowledge of further languages is a plus
- German/EU citizen or permanent VISA holder
- Based in in Munich
