**Postdoctoral Researcher Sociology (f/m/d)**
The position is affiliated with the Chair for Empirical Macrosociology (Koenig) and offers the opportunity for academic qualification (R2), preferably in the fields of religion, migration, and/or human rights.
**Your responsibilities**:
- You will develop and carry out your independent research project
- You will contribute to teaching in sociology (teaching load is 4 hours per week during the semester) and to supervision of undergraduate theses
- You will cooperate with the Chair’s research team and within the MWI
**The following qualifications are required for this position**:
- You have obtained an excellent MA degree in sociology or a neighboring field
- You have recently completed your doctoral dissertation in sociology
- You have a global, transnational or comparative research profile
- You show advanced skills in methods of empirical social research
- You are committed to innovative teaching
- You have an excellent command of English and German; additional languages and/or area expertise are an advantage
