**Your mission**:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain an analysis-driven approach in daily operations, ensuring the identification and reporting of deviations, critical issues, and potential risks.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support and insights to facilitate strategic decision-making and challenge department leads using analytical insights.
- Contribute to the establishment of additional controls to enhance operational efficiency and support.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against forecasts.
- Drive effective communication with responsible teams regarding performance information and documentation to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
- Execute a variety of additional administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the department and the organization.
- Support the CFO and Finance Lead in the preparation of the financial updates presented in our shareholder meetings, as well as internal meetings.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to align goals, share insights, and drive initiatives that benefit the organization.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with focus on finance, controlling, accounting or auditing or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of accounting rules and principles according to HGB.
- Professional experience of 2-3 years in a finance role in a B2B- and SaaS-based joint-venture or startup with a digital business model are an advantage.
- Min. 2-3 years professional experience in or controlling.
- Analytical skills and proactive approach.
- Strong knowledge in Excel and Power-BI; knowledge of DATEV and Business Central or SAP will be considered a plus.
- Ability to think outside the box with high willingness to learn.
- Fluent communication skills in German and English.
