WHAT WE OFFER
As part of the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) organization, our HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) department is globally responsible for setting the frame to comply with internal and external requirements on health, safety, environmental protection and quality (HSEQ) as the basis for Covestro's sustainable development.
The IMS (Integrated Management System) team, as part of HSE, is responsible for the continual improvement of Covestro's global Integrated Management System for HSEQ, setting related HSEQ rules, providing support for its implementation and verifying its compliance.
During your internship you will contribute to the continual improvement of the Covestro Integrated Management System for HSEQ.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Identifying the main stakeholders for an IT tool for document control- Collecting and evaluating the requirements of these stakeholders- Evaluating to what extent existing IT tools at Covestro fulfil these requirements- Investigating whether IT tools from the market could better cover the requirements- Documenting all project phases and drawing a final conclusion- You will work with various parts and functions within HSE and related departments on a global level- Finally, you may prepare management appropriate presentations for various HSE and sustainability topics
WHAT YOU OFFER- You are an enrolled bachelor or master student (M/F/d) of a technical or scientific degree program with focus on e.g. business informatics, business engineering or management systems- You preferably already gained practical experience in the field of project management, business informatics or management system- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, are required- With your strong analytical skills and your structured way of working, it is easy for you to present complex issues in a simplified way- You have a high level of intrinsic motivation and the will to contribute your own ideas- Furthermore, you enjoy cross-functional and cross-divisional communication as well as working in a team- Very good command of written and spoken German and English round off your profile
