RESPONSIBILITIES- Development of new products and processes in Formulation and Polymers for the Healthcare Sector- Provide technical and polymer chemistry support to other functions (particularly Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs)- Plan, conduct and perform experiments and document results- Assist with patent prosecution- Lead and manage project teams- Presentation of results to internal and external committees, technical presentations to customers and cooperation partners, and presentations at international symposia and conferences.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or engineering, Ph.D. preferred- Experience in chemical synthesis of pharmaceutical excipients and polymers for medical devices, ideally in the field of biopolymers- Strong research and development and project management skills- Experience in handling chemicals and hazardous materials- Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken- Strong communication and teamwork skills, high problem-solving ability and independent, results-oriented work style
