Data Strategist/data Lead

**Your mission**:
You are an experienced and passionate Data Strategist (all genders) who guides internal and external data experts and provides direction, especially regarding the company-wide data strategy to unlock the full (business) potential of existing and uncollected data.

Your main responsibilities are:

- You are a data evangelist and storyteller who establishes a company-wide data-driven culture
- You shape RECUPs data strategy together with a cross-functional team of experts from different fields (e.g. marketing, CRM, product, engineering)
- You evaluate the current state of data usage and reveal unlocked potential
- You make sure we have the right tools, technologies and methods in place to acquire and analyze the essential data
- You support in developing and implementing KPIs, reports and dashboards across all departments to enable data-driven decision-making
- You drive the integration of data from different touchpoints along the customer journey, e.g. to implement a (data-driven) attribution model
- Prospectively, you will manage a team of data experts to build and maintain a Data Warehouse and establish methods like data activation and predictive analytics

**Your profile**:

- You have several years of experience as data strategist and team lead who guided internal and/or external data experts
- You feel comfortable with complex systems and processes involving omnidirectional data flows (e.g. between user interfaces, Shop, ERP, CRM, financial systems)
- You know how to connect data from different sources to create omnichannel insights
- You are a true pro in developing and implementing outcome
- and data-driven KPIs for various use cases
- You are a data storyteller and know how to present data appealing and meaningful via dashboards and reports
- You have expert knowledge of modern data & web analytics tools & technologies, e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Matomo, Tableau, Power BI
- You have knowledge of (or at least keen interest in) Data Warehouse architecture and technologies (e.g. Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake)
- You are familiar with methods like (data-driven) attribution modeling, data activation and predictive analytics
- You have very good German & English language skills written and spoken and are able to communicate with all parties involved like product owners, engineers, designers, key users and stakeholders
- Work permission in the EU, available to work from our office in Munich and/or remote within the EU
