Data Lead

**Your mission**:
You are an experienced, passionate and hands-on Data Lead (all genders) who brings together the domains of Technology & Data, Communications and Business to see how they can work together to solve (business) problems and innovate new products and services.

Your main responsibilities are:

- You are a data evangelist and storyteller who establishes a company-wide data-driven culture.
- You are owning RECUPs data strategy together with a cross-functional team of experts from different fields (e.g. marketing, sales, customer support, finance, digital products, engineering) and ensure Data Governence across the company.
- You evaluate the current state of data usage and reveal unlocked (business) potential.
- You make sure we have the right tools, technologies and methods in place to acquire, connect and analyze essential data.
- You are accountable for setting up a viable data infrastructure and architecture to support the implementation of a data and digital transformation strategy.
- You support in developing and implementing KPIs, reports and dashboards across all departments to enable data-driven decision-making.
- You drive the integration of data from different touchpoints along the customer journey, e.g. to implement a (data-driven) attribution model.
- Prospectively, you will manage a team of data experts to build and maintain a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse, set up a CDP and establish methods like data activation and predictive analytics.

**Your profile**:

- You have several years of experience as a hands-on data and team lead.
- You feel comfortable with complex systems and processes involving omnidirectional processes and data flows (e.g. between user interfaces, Shop, ERP, CRM, financial systems).
- You know how to connect data from different sources to create omnichannel insights and have knowledge of analytics data bases and associated technologies (e.g. SQL/NoSQL).
- You have expert knowledge of modern data, analytics and CRM tools and technologies, e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo, Piwik PRO, Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI, HubSpot, Salesforce.
- You have knowledge of (or at least keen interest in) Data Warehouse architecture and technologies (e.g. Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake).
- You are a true pro in developing and implementing outcome
- and data-driven KPIs for various use cases.
- You are a data storyteller and know how to present data appealing and meaningful via dashboards and reports.
- You are familiar with methods like (data-driven) attribution modeling, data activation and predictive analytics.
- You have very good English language skills written and spoken and are able to communicate with all parties involved like product managers, engineers, UX/UI designers, key users and stakeholders.
- Work permission in the EU, available to work from our office in Munich and/or remote within the EU.

Optional skills:

- German language skills written and spoken
- Familiarity with methods such as design thinking and brainstorming
- Work experience in tools like Jira, Confluence and/or Miro
- Experience with remote teams
