Paradigm Building Solutions runs a state-of-the-art factory with high-end robotic equipment. Paradigm produces open and closed wood wall panels in Louis Creek, B.C, minutes south of Barrière. There are only a small number of companies in the world running such high-end equipment, and we have big plans to be the market-leader in sustainable and energy-efficient prefabricated wall panels in Canada. Our company is very much data driven and we strive for excellence in everything we do. We are actively looking for Journeyman Carpenters from Germany to help us advance our prefabrication. We can accommodate work & travel or longer stays.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Journeyman Carpenter you will be reporting directly to our Factory Leader or Site supervisor. This is a full-time position with competitive wage and employee incentives. This opportunity will be a combination of hands-on work on the floor shop as well as standing our wall panels on construction sites. You will be operating various machines. Some key responsibilities of the role include the following:

- Executing a daily production plan
- Operating all kinds of hand tools and production equipment
- Be part of a continuous improvement process and achieve factory targets
- Assess quality of woodwork and materials
- Collaborating with quality control managers to execute quality control processes
- Ensuring factory machinery is in good working order
- Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards
- Travel to various job site in British Columbia to stand our wall panels.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent practical knowledge in carpentry and wood framing
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings
- Ability to physically perform all construction-related tasks
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Work accurately and economically
- Outstanding time management and multitask skills
- Fluent in English
