**The role**

As an **Illustration and Animation Designer (Freelance)** at Frieda, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our designers, medical content, product and marketing managers during an exciting phase of innovation and growth, building and shaping our new eHealthcare company. Together with our co-founder and CPTO you will bring our design delivery to the next level and make a big impact on the company's development.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Prepare** rough drafts** according to requirements (mainly: human characters in daily life situations).
- Combine **hand-drawing with digital media** to create complete illustrations.
- **Refine designs **with illustration software.
- Use various** colours, graphics and effects** to better visualize each concept.
- Brainstorm with the design team to come up with **new ideas, patterns and styles**.
- Developing timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements
- Collaborate in **design briefs **with Frieda's diverse team, identify their needs and finalize projects together.

**You'll fit great with these skills and values**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in **graphic** **design, visual design, fine art or related.**:

- Proven** track record** as an Illustrator, Animator, Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of **image editing, digital sketching and animation** software.
- **Drawing** skills with an attention to **detail** (both by hand and digital pen).
- Solid knowledge of **animation principles** such as staging, timing, ease in, ease out and anticipation is a bonus.
- Strong** aesthetic and conceptual skills**.
- Excellent **communication and collaboration skills.**:

- Strong **project management **skill set and an **autonomous** working style.
- Experience working in a **fast-paced** environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology to improve **women's** **health and well-being**.
