Visual Product Designer

We are searching for a **Visual Product Designer (all genders)** to support our **design system and product design teams** with the production, maintenance and preparation of visual assets. Helping to enable a seamless and personalized ordering experience for our customers, you will be an integral member of a cross-functional squad whose mission is to expand, mature and maintain the product’s design system. You will work closely with UX designers, copywriters, researchers and business stakeholders. Bringing fresh ideas, fresh energy, and a collaborative approach to use engaging visuals and purposeful animations that help bring greater clarity, guidance, feedback and delight to the way we communicate with our customers.

**Your mission**:

- Create engaging illustrations, icons and animations that bridge the brand identity, user experience and business needs, driving customer acquisition and engagement.
- Helping to define, iterate and improve on the design language for our products.
- Help establish processes for a collaborative and iterative approach to asset production, motion production, delivery and management.
- Work within a cross-functional, agile team collaborating closely with other designers and engineers.
- Manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Translate different brand styles and guidelines into digital visual assets, maintaining a consistent style across different platforms.
- Contribute to the creation of outstanding experiences, using a data-driven, user-centric approach toward creating solid, engaging UX and UI patterns.
- Collaborate with multiple professionals to reach a common goal of improving the product and user experience.
- Challenge the status quo with an acute attention to detail for UI/UX and micro-interactions.
- Ensure that the quality of implementation of product meets design requirements.
- Prepare assets for production across multiple platforms including responsive web and native mobile apps
- Bring inspiring ideas, a spirit of innovation and motivation to an energetic and collaborative team.

**Your Heroic Skills**:

- Strong visual and graphic design skills with a solid understanding of typography, iconography, colour harmony and composition
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer.
- Good understanding of UX principles & interaction design
- User-centric focus with a strong understanding of designing consumer platforms.
- Experience working with Figma and prototyping tools (eg. Protopie, Principle).
- Illustration skills or experience crafting icons or other similar graphical assets.
- Worked on products/services across multiple platforms (mobile to desktop).
- Experience working with or contributing to a design system.
- Strong communication skills. You need to be able to clearly and concisely express yourself and explain your ideas.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to deliver a polished product.
- Good team player.
- Fluency in English required.

**Nice to haves**:

- Motion design and animation knowledge and skills.
- Experience with or good understanding of front-end technology like HTML, CSS and Javascript.
