**Research Assistant (PhD Student) (M/F/d)**
**(E 13 TV-L, 100 %)**

initially for 3 years. The position is suitable for part-time work.

**Your profile**:
A relevant university degree (Master’s degree, diploma or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, computational linguistics, media informatics, engineering or related fields and a very good proven command of written and spoken English.

**Your Tasks**:
You will work in the division for Applied Artificial Intelligence on topics such as explainability (XAI), robustness, information extraction (IE) and natural language processing (NLP), semantic web, everyday intelligence, hybrid cognitive systems, contextual knowledge and comprehensible action decisions, robust and trustworthy AI, and assist in teaching. Teaching responsibilities are based on the LVVO. The opportunity for own qualification (PhD) will be given.
