**Your New Role...**

The Finance Director Networks GSA oversees, manages and coordinates the local budgets from a finance perspective across the German speaking territories.

The Finance Director Networks GSA is a member of the GSA Finance team, reporting into the Vice President Finance GSA. This position is a Key Finance Business Partner to the local business, it provides financial insights and is directly involved in the decision making process.

This position will collaborate closely with local Business Partners, CoE, GBS and other Corporate functions to achieve and maintain the common corporate goals.

**Your Role Accountabilities...**

Business Partnering
- Provide business support for Networks and partner with key business stakeholders to support & drive the decision-making process.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Take ownership of business-driven projects.
- Manage, coordinate and drive business units specific analysis.
- Act as sparring partner and first point of contact for commercial issues.
- Ensure full budget transparency and target attainment.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Month End
- Work closely with the local business and the CoE and oversee, manage & coordinate the Forecast, Budget and Month End processes.
- Oversee and manage the budget & forecast process for Networks, working closely with the local business and the central finance teams.
- Review the underlying assumptions of Budgets and Forecasts.
- Ensure quality, completeness and consistency of Forecasts and Budgets.
- Coordinate with Business and CoE and other parts of Finance to ensure timely and accurate Budgets & Forecasts.
- Manage, coordinate and drive financial analysis and provide financial insights.
- Present financial information into clear and concise value-added analysis.
- Ensure Budget & Forecast target attainment.
- Prepare decks, dashboards and other recurring management updates.
- Ensure quality, completeness, consistency and reasonability of period close reports.
- Support strategic and long-term-planning process.

AdSales JV
- Work closely with the German AdSales JV 'El Cartel Brothers'. Review and challenge Forecasts, Budgets etc.
- Ensure full transparency.
- Analyse trends.
- Support Forecast & Budgeting process.
- Review revenue distribution from JV to its shareholders.

Other
- Run Ad Hoc analysis for the Vice President Finance GSA, the local key Business Partners and/or the Senior Management.
- Prepare and review Business Cases.
- Support growth opportunities.
- Analyse performance vs. goals etc. through KPI driven analysis.
- Responsible for managing performance and training & development of direct reports.
- Support of internal and external financial audits in collaboration with other Finance departments such as GBS, CoE etc.
- Embrace process improvements to help scale the business.

**Qualifications & Experience...**
- Relevant University Degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) or relevant professional training with experience in a comparable job.
- Proven experience in controlling & financial reporting.
- Experience with the process requirements of a multi-national group and used to work in an international business environment.
- Good Knowledge of general accounting and reporting practices along German-GAAP and US-GAAP.
- Sound skills of controlling and reporting processes in a commercial and international environment.
- Working in an ERP environment.
- Experience in the media industry.
- IT-literate with excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel).
- Experience with S4/Hana is an advantage.
- Fluent German in speaking, reading and writing.
- Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.
