Tasks

We are looking for an exceptional KYC & AML Specialist with passion for people and financial markets, sharing our mission to change the world of private investments.

Vestlane acts as a collaboration platform for all people involved in successful fundraisings, including lawyers, fund administrators, compliance officers, transfer agents, depositaries and other players.

Together with our team, you will be accompanying renowned fund clients in their operations through the Vestlane platform. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of operations, law, technology, data and sales with a focus on compliance and regulatory matters.

You will work directly with fund managers, their lawyers, fund administrators and other service providers. You will cooperate with them to understand their plans, onboard them, and support investors incl. HNWI and large institutional investors. Using your experience, you will collaborate with the founders and the tech team as well as the sales.

What you can expect at Vestlane
- Perform your responsibilities in fund operations and compliance matters, focusing especially on KYC/AML and investment laws
- Support all customers with their KYC/AML data and manage review procedures
- Being the first contact point for prestigious fund managers and renowned global Investors
- Build out the Compliance functions and services
- Manage new customers through the Vestlane process and help existing customers to roll out new modules and features, including effectively managing escalations
- Help fund administrators and fund managers to onboard new investors
- Understanding the needs and challenges of our sophisticated investor base
- Focus on retention and growth of Vestlane customers
- Build deep relationships with decision-makers within private equity and venture capital funds to enable them to be Vestlane advocates
- Participate in product development and manage the translation of law into software
- Participate in customer issues and manage resolution for funds and their investors
- Monitor and influence product usage, customer engagement, and satisfaction feedback
- Proactively identify areas where customers can further engage with the Vestlane product

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in a Fund/Alternative Assets/Legal/Investment Operations role, with a track record that demonstrates an understanding of the techniques and methods of managing sophisticated business clients and investors (Ideally in German & Luxembourg juristdiction).
- First professional experience in a position similar to this (fund administrator, fund manager, law firm, financial services)
- Practical knowledge of financial services law, specifically experience in KYC & AML remediation is a big plus
- Degree in the fields of law, compliance, finance, or business
- Proven ability to build and manage customer account relationships
- Initial responsibility as (partial) project manager for complex projects
- Ability to learn fast in multiple functional areas of business - legal, operations, finance, sales, or marketing.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in German (spoken and written)
