This position is based in our growing satellite office in Düsseldorf, working closely with our London HQ. In your role you will support the VP of Sales in driving the location and goals set for the region. Supporting initiatives to maintain the Mintel culture with social events and general office management tasks when needed. **What we offer**: - Flexible work hours (start between 7am and 11am), hybrid working, finish early on fridays, work from alternative location for a few weeks per year - Company Car - A fair, transparent and uncapped commission structure on a monthly basis - 30 days annual leave + 2 charity days + birthday off - Budget for home office equipment - 10 personal coaching sessions per year - A group of inspiring, fun, social and hard-working professionals - Security of an established international company but with a start-up atmosphere in the growing German office (personal responsibility, autonomous work and freedom for initiative) - International and diverse culture with our HQ in the heart of the City of London **What you'll do**: - Achieve personal subscription and consultancy targets and set an example for the team in terms of activity levels and account management best practices - Demonstrate a full understanding of effective pipeline management in line with Mintel's processes using our CRM system Salesforce as the source of truth. Establish best-in-class pipeline management behaviour across the team - Consistently report accurate team forecasts and sales activity to the VP of Sales through Salesforce. Establish GDPR-compliant processes across the team and use Salesforce to log all necessary activity - Work with all direct reports to build robust business plans which enable a structured approach to achieve set targets - Monitor business plans and sales metrics of all direct reports and work with each person individually to coach them through areas of required development in order to reach their full potential with a focus on consultative selling, understanding clients needs and developing long term strategic partnerships - Continuously innovate around the account management process by creating new and impactful ways of engaging with clients, networking within client organisations and moving opportunities through the pipeline. This includes embracing new sales technologies - Challenge the VP of Sales with new and innovate approaches to refining existing processes which will ultimately help the team sell more, can-do attitude to get new ideas implemented - Excellent collaboration across different teams including account management, new business, Telesales, Client success, always with the joined goal of delivering best-in-class solutions for our clients in mind - This position is based in our growing satellite office in Düsseldorf, working closely with our London HQ. Supporting with initiatives to maintain the Mintel culture with social events and general office management tasks when needed **What you'll bring**: - 2+ years proven B2B sales team leadership experience - Fluency in German and English - Consultative and solution oriented mindset - Passion for selling and knowledge of the FMCG, Beauty, Agency or Professional Services market - Enthusiasm, ambition, drive and a positive outlook - Attention to detail and adeptness for the routine reporting and administrative tasks which come with management responsibilities - A drive and interest to keep abreast with the issues that interest our clients - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and collaborative attitude - Strong account management and business development background, with proven success in building win-win relationships that result in growth including maximising identified leads, networking and enabling a high volume of well targeted meetings - At ease on the phone and comfortable giving on site presentations or negotiating at Director and procurement level within companies - Flexibility to travel across the region up to 2 days a week as and if required **About Mintel**: **Please note**: We are looking for people who will make Mintel better.
