I'm hiring a Junior Information Security Officer on behalf of an independent and innovative financial service provider with strong substance and growth. They're one of Germany's market leaders with over 1,000 sales partners & over 1 million customers; they are both traditional and at the same time one of the most innovative companies in the insurance industry.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Supporting the Information Security Manager in the development of information security and the design/maintenance of the documentation.
- Monitoring security measures and support with the communication & processing.
- Taking over the quality assurance of security measures.
- Assisting with internal & external audits.
- Providing support in training sessions on IT Security topics.

**Essential**:

- You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or comparable professional training in the IT environment.
- You have previous professional experience within the field of information security.
- You have initial experience with DIN/ISO 27001 and the BSI basic protection compendium.
- The ability to work in a team and very good communication skills. German and English speaking.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of using GRC.
- Previously experience working within the insurance industry.
