Kühne Logistics University (KLU) in Hamburg, Germany, one of Germany’s top research-based private business schools (AACSB accredited), is looking for a Deputy Campus Director Southeast Asia to support operations and business development of KLU‘s branch campus in Southeast Asia and to make KLU Saigon one of the leading logistics schools in Asia.

Founded in 2010, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) is a private, internationally accredited business school headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, specializing in logistics and supply chain management. We are currently expanding our global footprint to Southeast Asia, where we are establishing KLU’s first international branch campus in Vietnam’s bussing business and logistics hub, Ho-Chi-Minh-City. In so doing, we follow our mission to contribute to local capacity building and knowledge transfer in the field of logistics, operations and supply chain management. Our programs are designed to prepare leaders for the supply chain challenges of a global business landscape

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Support Campus Director in all strategic and operational aspects in establishing KLU’s branch campus in Ho-Chi-Minh-City from scratch (mid-term objective: 2 study programs, 150-200 students)
- Establish and sustain strong strategic relations with corporate, NGO and higher education partners as well as local authorities and government(s) in Vietnam & Southeast Asia (focus: logistics & supply chain management)
- Coordinate all facets of operations establishment: development of program portfolio (degree programs & executive education), campus location, student recruiting and marketing plans, events and public relations engagements
- Develop institutional structures of KLU branch campus and hire local operations team
- Develop business plan and budget for branch campus establishment incl. reporting and controlling processes
- Coordinate legal and licensing processes for establishment of KLU branch campus in HCMC, Vietnam in close cooperation with the Hamburg Headquarters
- Define, set-up and implement cross-departmental and cross-organizational business processes for KLU branch campus in HCMC in alignment with KLU headquarters in Hamburg, Germany such as HR, Accounting, Student Admission, Student Services, Sales, Marketing, etc.
- Collaborate closely with KLU Hamburg’s Management to define, track and achieve business development goals and align overall operations
- Work closely with KLU Executive Director of Administration in Hamburg Headquarters

**Your qualifications**:

- ** Operations Mindset**: You’re driven to initiate and own projects and processes, with a proactive approach to solving challenges and feel comfortable to navigate ambiguity.
- ** Excellent Project & Process Management Skills**: You are experienced in managing complex projects independently and have a creative, yet structured approach with regard to project planning, budgeting and reporting as well as in setting up, optimizing and implementing cross-departmental and cross-organizational processes.
- ** Excellent People & Communication skills**: You are persuasive, able to navigate a multitude of stakeholders and communication levels incl. academic partners, students and faculty members, cooperation partners from industry, NGOs and governmental agencies as well as managing board members in Germany and Switzerland.
- ** Passion for Learning & Education**: You have a strong personal affinity and passion for learning and development; working experience in higher education is a plus.
- ** Language Skills**: You have excellent English language skills and ideally; proficiency in Vietnamese and/or German is highly valued.
- ** Vietnamese Work Permit**: You have the right to work in Vietnam.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- University degree in business administration, management, logistics & supply chain management, finance, accounting, law, or related fields (preferably also in European universities)
- Experience in project management, start-up environments, logistics and supply chain industry or educational management
